Awesome service, hot fresh food, sweet and friendly employees. I got a very nice vibe when I was walked in - greeted by a smile by hard working employees, the Luigi figure that hailed the hand sanitizer and ads for local children's programs and local businesses & services. The food is as fresh as it can get and is made to order, with well seasoned and nicely cooked burgers and fries.
Amazing food! Classic American diner. The dining room could use some touching up. Not updating. No. Keep the '50s vibe, but repair some things that are worn and damaged.
The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond. There was much more food than expected when I ordered the bison burger. It has a really tasty, unique flavor.
We stopped in for lunch 4/7/2025. IT WAS A TOTALLY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Allie greeted us cheerfully at the door. The place was clean. We ordered a Big Joe Burger & a Philly Cheese steak plus onion rings & sweet potato fries. It was obvious that the fry grease was clean , & at the proper temperature, and the burger & sandwich were delicious. Good food, good service. Highly recommend!
The atmosphere was very cool and nostalgic! Has a classic drive-in/diner feel! The food was good, I recommend the cheeseburger and fries. The pineapple shake was ok but would have been better if the pineapple was fresh, it tasted old and bitter. The servers were very nice but we did have to wait a very long time for our food! We would definitely come back again though.
I went there with my best friend this afternoon for the first time. Payton was the one who took care of us the whole time. He took out order, brought us our food and drinks and collected the payment. He was very professional, helpful and friendly. He should be a manager and or train people because he understands customer service. He went above and beyond. You could tell they were short handed and he still held himself well and gave excellent customer service, even under stress. You could tell he loves his job and isn't just there for the paycheck. I live in Layton and my friend lives in Taylorsville and we don't always travel that far north. The food was also delicious. You get good food and a good amount for the price. My friend and I will definitely go out of our way to come back just because of Payton. Customer service like that is hard to find. Please treat him well and give him a raise because he's the reason I will be back for sure!
I took my 92 year old dad out for a milkshake. It’s hard for him to move around with a bad hip and a cane. He wanted a drive-in place where we could order from the car. Kirt’s was recommended to me. Wow! That was a great raspberry shake! The service was good and my dad said we need to go back soon. Thanks to Kirts we found a new favorite.
